Rules and Regulation for Use of the Pool
The following is a list of general rules and regulations governing the use of the pool. The rules and regulations have been established for the protection and benefit of all homeowners and may be amended, modified or reviewed by the Asbury Park Home Owners Association at any time. Persons renting and occupying a residence are considered to be homeowners with regard to pool use, rules and regulations.
POOL HOURS
Adults – Normal hours of operation are from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Minors – Minors under age 18 must be in the company of their parent or guardian between the hours of dusk to 9:00 P.M. Minors under 16 years of age are not allowed in the pool area without adult supervision at any time.
Pool Closure – The pool may be closed for maintenance at the discretion of the Asbury Park Home Owners Association.
HEALTH & SAFETY REGULATIONS
There are no lifeguards on duty – SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
A telephone that dials 911 only is provided for emergency purposes.
Children not yet toilet trained must use cloth diapers with rubber pants or swim diapers that fit snugly at the waist and legs. Any type of disposable diaper is not allowed in the pool.
No one is allowed in the pool area alone. You must be accompanied by at least one other adult. This is a Jefferson County Health Department regulation.
No diving allowed.
No animals allowed in the pool area with the exception of a service animal.
No running, pushing screaming or general horseplay allowed in the pool area.
No illegal substances allowed in the pool area.
No alcoholic beverage use by a minor or excessive use by any adult allowed.
No swimming allowed while drinking alcoholic beverages.
No glassware allowed inside the pool area.
Anyone with communicable illnesses, infectious diseases, open sores, inflamed eyes, or similar conditions is not allowed in the pool.
Any other activity that could endanger the health or safety of any homeowner or guest is prohibited.
GENERAL RULES
No offensive language or behavior allowed.
Place all trash in the containers provided.
Please return chairs to original position and if you use and umbrella, lower it before you leave.
No sunbathing allowed in the common areas outside of the pool area.
No bicycles, skateboards or roller blades allowed in the pool area.
No radios, tape players, portable CD players, etc. are allowed in the pool area unless they are battery operated and not a nuisance to others.
As a common courtesy to those who live near the pool, please keep the noise level low, especially during the evening.
Due to limited parking, homeowners are requested to walk or ride a bicycle to the pool whenever possible.
Swimming attire must be appropriate. No cutoffs or other street clothing, thong bikinis or sheer swimsuits allowed.
Use of the pool is not allowed for private parties.
Homeowners and their guest(s) may use the facilities with the understanding that they comply with all pool rules and regulations declared by the Association.
Homeowners will be charged for any property damage to the pool caused by the homeowners or their guests.
Only bathroom key will be assigned per household.
A fee of $25 will be charged to replace lost keys.
LIABILITY
All persons using the pool area do so at their own risk and sole responsibility. Asbury Park Home Owners Association, its board members, officers and agents shall not be responsible for any accident, injury, theft, personal loss or damage to persons or property at the pool premises.
All Asbury Park homeowners must have a current liability release form on file with the Asbury Park Home Owners Association. Liability forms must be completed before a pool key may be used.
